INCONEL® 718 Nickel Alloy
UNS N07718 | ASTM B637 | AMS 5662 | AMS 5663INCONEL® 718 Nickel Alloy
INCONEL® 718 is a nickel alloy. The material in the Annealed (per AMS 5662) condition can also be heat treated (per AMS5663), to increase strength and stress rupture (up to 1300°F), while maintaining good corrosion and heat resistance and weldability. 718 has is suitable for use in many environments and applications as it has good resistance to both alkaline and acid. 718 has good resistance to oxidation at temperatures seen in jet engine or gas turbines. Can be used in various industry/applications based on the desired condition and
application use.
Common industry/applications are: Aerospace, Rockets and Spacecraft, Oil and Gas, and Fasteners.
Product forms include round bar, plate & strip, and forgings.
