Grade 321 Stainless Steel is much like 304, except the addition of titanium provides for better weldability. Grade 321 Stainless Steel alloy, also has better intergranular corrosion resistance and chromium carbide formation resistance than 304. Stainless steel type 321 can be used continuously at temperatures anywhere from 800° F to 1500° F. In its annealed form, 321 Stainless Steel alloy normally has a magnetic permeability less than 1.02 at 200H.
